you notice one of the pens nearby you is released into the arena. it looks like another balanced party like you. A tough looking punk wielding a taser, a kid who looks pretty young to be here, but seems to be wielding a battleaxe made from tire rims, a spellcaster in tattered robes and a book of magic wearing a menacing jagged black helmet over his face, and a elderly man wearing spiked pads with no weapon, cracking his fists.
you just see them from behind for now, so you can't really get a good glimpse of them, but there may be something naggingly familiar about one or two of them? Who could be sure.]
