[meanwhile the dragon fight continues. the monster formerly known as jiuqing thrashes and keeps trying to bite and claw at the dragon. with a roll of 11, it's doing well enough to just stay in place and keep gnawing. if it had rolled less than a 10 i would have had it fall.
