[ The snowflake was very pretty, Kashuu. It got everyone's attention earlier, but. Yeah.

Whispers... with a 16, the people are unsettled. That's an understatement, really, as there's panic that runs through the crowd. The inquisitors are arriving as well, swift and fast so there are even more knights. While the initial knights are confused because Lucia had seemed to look at Vin and Kashuu with trusting eyes earlier, the inquisitors are not so soft. They don't know the lore.

The leading inquisitor yells: ]

They... Speak lies! [ YEAH! ] HERETICS!! ARREST THEM!

[ With all efforts and numbers, they will catch Vin, Kashuu, and Kelsier before they reach the aetheryte... Unfortunately, as they're separated, Vin will witness her mentor spit manic and blasphemous words, crazed... Then turn into one of those colorful Lisa Frank beasts from the Prism. She does not get the comfort to know what is done with him. This scene will stay with her.

The familiar voice again: "hope and desperation are separated by a fine line..."
