You could always draw inspiration from other stuff? Ideas or whatever, or...you know. Stuff you would want to try from the items you pick that we haven't come up with yet.

If you really want to use a gumball to try and change your luck? Maybe try like...a Tuesday. Things are usually quiet around then.
