when he walks in, it's to a hallway. immediately on his right is a tiny, tiny kitchen, mostly just pressed into an indent against the wall. there's a fridge, some cabinets, a microwave on top of the fridge, and a sink. to the left is what looks like a bathroom. and just past that is an open sliding door that leads into... a bedroom! there's a bed pushed up against the wall, and the same TV cabinet from before, with a bunch of game consoles jammed into it. a bookcase with a bunch of books and manga hangs out near the bed, a comfy chair sits next to that, and those same blurry, colorful posters litter any free space there is. there's a full wall, ceiling to floor window next to the bed that is mostly covered by a curtain. the sun peeks out from behind it.
it seems a bit smaller than before, but not in a bad way. also, on the wall is a picture of what might be bass, sketched out, with big fiery wings and dog ears and a tail, holding a huge axe. very funny.
they're sitting on their bed, going through a little sketchbook when aymeric comes in.]
You can just call me Bass, y'know. [they say, amused, glancing up at him.] But yeah, it's been like this for a bit. I remembered some stuff and it started changing.
Yeah. [maybe like, a little shy.] Me and Marcy went to the museum this week and climbed up on some of the statues, and put clothes on 'em. Like a boa, or a mustache. Stuff like that.
It was fun, so I drew us doing it to remind me. In... in case I forget.
[ Wow, Bass really be here saying what if you guys just die? That's fair. Aymeric thinks about this sometimes, too, but not like... Thinking they will actually all die. ]
When I was a lad, I used to write journals and reading back does spur memories I thought I forgot. 'Tis a good idea.

You two weren't caught vandalizing the exhibit, I hope.

... You remember?

Some stuff. Not... a lot. But I remember I went to school, and... uh, other stuff. [:bunsweat:]

[ And that it’s a gradual transition instead of a zip zip. ]
Is… Other stuff unpleasant?
no subject
... Kinda, yeah. It sucks that it's mostly bad stuff I remember.

[ Peers at their ART? ]
If I'm not mistaken, you have made numerous happy memories with some of our own, have you not?
no subject
Guess that's true. I like all of you, you guys have been a lot of fun.

[ The drawings are cute, he thinks? ]
Where would you like to begin?

[they show him a drawing - this is something that looks vaguely like marceline. she's sitting on a statue drawing a mustache on it.]

The resemblance is uncanny... 'Tis like I'm physically there, witnessing her.
[ LIKE. SERIOUSLY. THE VIBE IS SO STRONG. ]

No, Aymeric is deadly serious. ]
Is aught amiss?

I just wanted to make sure you weren't... making fun of me.
no subject
Why ever would I ridicule you, Bass?
no subject
... I guess you wouldn't, huh. [aymeric is a good boy.] Thanks, then, I guess.

Would you like to tell me of this piece?

... Have you been forgetting? I had thought you were remembering.

[they barely even know who they were, before all this.]
And if all of you guys eventually find out a way to leave, or if you all die... I don't want to forget you were here.
