He throws his daggers and sends them Hot Pants's way. Is it revenge or is it just desperately trying to find something useful to do? Hopefully this manages to throw her off a bit.

The monster truck revs with a shriek of rubber, and defeaningly loud honking and it slams on the gas so hard it lifts the front tires into the air. Vin's made a mistake though, forgetting about Marceline - her guitar strums a wicked chord and sends out a burning flash of fire, sizzling and crackling at Vin's skin and clothes, making her hiss in pain. Looks like she figured out how to aim that thing.
Kumon! Hot Pants is striding towards him in a full run, the bat pulled back - still dripping with blood - as he aims his knives with deadly precious, landing them with a satisfying thunk thunk thunk into her, sending her stumbling back. Not quite enough to entirely stop her swing, it grazes the edge of his arm with her bat, pulling a surface wound into his shoulder.

He launches out of where he'd been run into the ground, grabbing the blue spray can in his pocket that is hopefully still in tact and letting off a load into his mouth, before dropping the metal to the ground and picking up his chainsaw. His ribs crackle pain up his spine as he inhales, but it's good. It makes him absolutely furious as he takes off after Monster Trucksuke, swiping at the wheels with his chainsaw.

It's also just much easier to go forward when there's some kind of plan, even if that plan is very murderous and he's going to have horrible nightmares about all of this later. Here they are with their murder plan.

The shield is new, but if they're working with colors still, he'll push his Heliotrope into the knives as he throws them again and hopes that's the end.

He swings the chainsaw and it makes another so satisyfing hit, tearing into Vin’s side and slamming her and the end of the chainsaw blade into the Monster Truckified Ryunosuke, shearing off one of his wheels entirely. Vin is hanging on, but barely. Garou, you’ve left yourself vulnerable though, and the truck takes the opportunity - running him over again. He’ll feel something sear in his chest. More pain. You can withstand it though, can’t you?
Marcy rips out another ferocious tune, and it seems to almost come to life, the red energy floating on the air for a moment before going to wrap itself around Kumon. Vin throws a knife at her, weakly, but it just lands in the dirt nearby, useless.

[ I WANT THAT TRASURE but Garou is first preoccupied with coughing out blood. This is, at least, a familiar feeling. It doesn't even occur to him that since he's nerfed, he might actually die if he's hit by Trucksuke enough times. Instead, he kind of grins a little, and whatever brief hesitation he might've had at fighting familiar faces is eclipsed by murderous intent.
He scrambles up the truck again (probably spitting blood along the way, lol), grabbing Vin to pull himself up but also yank her off her perch at the same time, so that he can throw her under Trucksuke's wheel and let him finish her off while he climbs toward the Trucksuke's engine with the intent of slamming his chainsaw through the hood.

[ garou himself was recently run over. this is a him problem, Marcy made the choice that whatever is in the chest she really, really doesn't want a monster truck and half dead girl to have it! and hot pants is already dead. Kumon can wait. probably.
she runs straight for the treasure in a beeline, keeping an eye out for rude knives or other car attacks. this bass is a bit too unwieldy to play and run at the same time, sooo. just running straight for the chest it is.
[hot pants and kumon both lie on the ground unconsciously. kumon thankfully isn’t awake to hear his healer abandon him. Hot Pants! vin screams. Ryunosuke, help her!
the ryunosuke car revs and tries to swipe at garou, but he manages to grab on and jump onto the hood of the car. he gets hit a little doing this, but he also manages to grab onto vin and throw her to the ground. unfortunately, rather than go under the wheels of the car, it seems to give her a head start as she takes off running. she’s injured, practically on her last legs, but she’s speedy.
garou plunges his chainsaw across the front of the car with his mouth somehow, shattering one of the headlights and slashing through the side. as vin runs, she bends back her wrist and sends two knives, glowing with amber, back at garou. they both drive into his shoulderblade with a flash of amber energy. garou will feel tired when the knives sink into him, as though he’s drained slightly. he’s alone up here, isn’t he?
marceline off running to the treasure chest. unfortunately, vin had a head start being thrown out of a car, and she’s just a little faster. she manages to get there first. as soon as she touches the chest, it vanishes, and a chrome can of spraypaint appears in her hands. despite how hurt she is, her fury is palpable.
ryunosuke car’s remaining headlight flashes a bright sunrise color, and the light from it engulfs hot pants. she staggers back to her feet, bloodied and hurting, but conscious.
Finish it! the crowd cries out. Finish it! Vin! Vin! Ryunosuke! Hot Pants! you get the sense the tide of the crowd is starting to turn against you.
meanwhile...ryunosuke begins to change. his wheels retract back into himself, he begins to shrink, and once again returns to the form of a human. it looks like some of the injuries carried over, though. he has slashes across his back from the chainsaw blades, one of his arms is slightly shredded and bleeding badly, hard to use, and where the headlight shattered, his eye is now bleeding and he can’t seem to see out of it.
garou is now riding piggyback on him. at this point, garou, you feel extremely hurt. kumon is still unconscious. marceline feels as though she has a little more strength left. even though hot pants is conscious, she also looks extremely hurt. vin is not quite as bad off as hot pants is, but bleeding a lot. ryunosuke seems to still have a little bit of strength left in him.
[ Damn... He's so tired, and he really wants a cola.
Also, the feeling of Ryunosuke turning from Trucksuke into Horsuke underneath is very strange, and for a second he's just clinging onto the short king like, dude what?
And then, he realizes that Ryunosuke is human and within his grasp. He does waste a second to cackle, because he's really going to enjoy this as he yanks Ryunsouke's head back with one hand while he slides off his back and just, slices off his head.

[ imagine if ryunosuke's head comes flying this way as she says this. either way, Marceline is grabbing and uncapping her own red spray paint in one swift movement, spraying her mouth. if it's a paint battle she wants, FINE. all her fangs look bloodied now. it's a look.
but she doesn't strike to attack first, taking a defensive position before doing what she neglected last turn! which is picking a quick song to throw a heal kumon's way before hot pants decides to get revenge or whatever. she's not super thrilled to be doing this mid battle but APPARENTLY some normies can't handle 1v1ing a tank or something. golly.

If he's awake he has to deal with the head being tossed toward him- which means he's instinctively running far away from Hot Pants. The last time she was close he got reckt, throwing his daggers at Vin, since she's also nearby and he feels like he should be doing something to help the group at this point.
ryunosuke tries to shove garou off of him, still halfway between Car and Man and Horse (?) - and he summons a glow of green to his hand. garou, realizing ryunosuke is human again, and vulnerable brings the chainsaw down on ryunosuke, trying to decapitate him. his blade cuts through ryunosuke’s green can of spray paint, splattering green paint everywhere in a vicious burst. blood spurts from the wound in ryunosuke’s neck and he collapses to the ground, but green energy surrounds him. his head doesn’t come off. he’s unconscious and bleeding out, but he’s not quite dead. not yet.
hot pants, a little bit of green energy surrounding her from where ryunosuke had managed to fire his spell off - staggers to her feet, and fixes her gaze on marceline. she summons a ball of green to her fingers, forms a gun with her hand, and shoots. her aim was true, and the ball of energy erupts at marceline, sapping her of a little of her fight. it’s nowhere near as painful as a hit from the bat would be, but it seems you might be able to use your color this way in a pinch.
marceline takes out her red spray can and sprays it on her teeth. she feels rage come over her, numbing the pain she feels and drowning out the crowd, giving her tunnel vision. this fight, now. but nothing happens just yet, because instead of attacking, she strums her guitar and purple color streams out of it as she plays, surrounding kumon with healing energy. he will find himself able to stagger to his feet, bleeding and in pain, but awake. kumon begins to run away, but as he runs, he tosses his knives in vin’s direction.
Uh-oh sisters. that’s when you see vin sprays the chrome paint in her face. WITNESS. HER. silvery shiny chrome energy encircles her, the paint drips from her face - the crowd falls into a hush, waiting to see her go historic on the rainbow road. Kumon’s knives hit her, but she doesn’t even flinch as they do. She flicks one knife. it flies towards kumon and strikes him in the center of his chest. he goes rigid and pale. Sorry buddy. Kumon is unconscious ... again. she flicks another knife. its aim is true ... and it drive directly into Garou’s back. The last of his energy expended, he’ll collapse into the dirt. Garou is unconscious.
but once she’s thrown the knives, the chrome encircling her fades into wisps, vanishes. suddenly, all the energy from Vin seems to ... fade away. She falls over, limp, to the ground.
...
oh. one other thing. garou’s on the ground, unconscious, blue paint still drying on his mouth. and then, a blue glow surrounding him, he’ll find he’s able to stagger to his feet. he looks like he’s on death’s door, but he’s awake. Garou is un-unconscious.
and as he staggers to his feet, a demon flies overhead and another treasure chest drops in the middle of the arena, in the center of hot pants, garou, and marceline. hot pants and marceline both look bad, but neither looks as nasty as garou. you 1 HP mad lad.
[ Garou is super fprking pissed off that Ryunosuke is still alive, and he'll be mad about this until he dies.

... Except not!
Thankfully, he's in so much pain that he's lost the ability to comprehend what is even happening right now, logical thought giving way to a need to survive. So when he sees the chest, he lets out a weird animal scream and just charges forward. He's still barely holding onto his chainsaw, swinging it aggressively as he runs because even if he's not getting that chest first he's gonna attack whoever does!!
[ marceline has already been angry. then she added the berserker red to herself! and none of the following events make her any less mad! the shrill shriek she gives when kumon passes out AGAIN could probably pierce eardrums. and then garou does too!
and then he doesn't!
GOD, WHATEVER.
she really wants to double tap either vin or ryunosuke out of spite, but she's even more tired of seeing hot pants hanging out awake and the chest pisses her off some more too. garou's going crazy for it and not quite looking where he is attacking, so she instead decides to forgo gunning straight for the chest and concentrates her hate on hot pants.
there's a lot of it.
she dashes off towards her, kicking dirt towards her eyes in an absolutely petty move before she's aiming another fire stream both directly at her and to block off her path to the chest? hopefully?
[hot pants tries to hit garou with her bat, but there's blood in her eyes, it's hard to concentrate. she stumbles and just misses him. he and marceline both run for the chest. garou gets ahead of her while marceline takes the moment to turn around and, full of spite, play her guitar and shoot flames right in hot pants' face. it burns her, making her wince in pain.
`V ... Vin ... !` she struggles out.
the crowd is chanting. it becomes a dull roar in your ears. there's cries of Hot Pants! here and there, but more Garou! Garou! and Marceline! and then all of it seems to fade into a low, rumbling chant of Finish it! Finish it! Finish it!
the crowd is hungry for more blood, and after everything that's happened so far, aren't you? and then garou's hand reaches out to touch the treasure chest. it fades in his hands, vanishes in a puff of blue, and suddenly...

[ garou himself was recently run over. this is a him problem, Marcy made the choice that whatever is in the chest she really, really doesn't want a monster truck and half dead girl to have it! and hot pants is already dead. Kumon can wait. probably.
she runs straight for the treasure in a beeline, keeping an eye out for rude knives or other car attacks. this bass is a bit too unwieldy to play and run at the same time, sooo. just running straight for the chest it is.

the ryunosuke car revs and tries to swipe at garou, but he manages to grab on and jump onto the hood of the car. he gets hit a little doing this, but he also manages to grab onto vin and throw her to the ground. unfortunately, rather than go under the wheels of the car, it seems to give her a head start as she takes off running. she’s injured, practically on her last legs, but she’s speedy.
garou plunges his chainsaw across the front of the car with his mouth somehow, shattering one of the headlights and slashing through the side. as vin runs, she bends back her wrist and sends two knives, glowing with amber, back at garou. they both drive into his shoulderblade with a flash of amber energy. garou will feel tired when the knives sink into him, as though he’s drained slightly. he’s alone up here, isn’t he?
marceline off running to the treasure chest. unfortunately, vin had a head start being thrown out of a car, and she’s just a little faster. she manages to get there first. as soon as she touches the chest, it vanishes, and a chrome can of spraypaint appears in her hands. despite how hurt she is, her fury is palpable.
ryunosuke car’s remaining headlight flashes a bright sunrise color, and the light from it engulfs hot pants. she staggers back to her feet, bloodied and hurting, but conscious.
Finish it! the crowd cries out. Finish it! Vin! Vin! Ryunosuke! Hot Pants! you get the sense the tide of the crowd is starting to turn against you.
meanwhile...ryunosuke begins to change. his wheels retract back into himself, he begins to shrink, and once again returns to the form of a human. it looks like some of the injuries carried over, though. he has slashes across his back from the chainsaw blades, one of his arms is slightly shredded and bleeding badly, hard to use, and where the headlight shattered, his eye is now bleeding and he can’t seem to see out of it.
garou is now riding piggyback on him. at this point, garou, you feel extremely hurt. kumon is still unconscious. marceline feels as though she has a little more strength left. even though hot pants is conscious, she also looks extremely hurt. vin is not quite as bad off as hot pants is, but bleeding a lot. ryunosuke seems to still have a little bit of strength left in him.

Also, the feeling of Ryunosuke turning from Trucksuke into Horsuke underneath is very strange, and for a second he's just clinging onto the short king like, dude what?
And then, he realizes that Ryunosuke is human and within his grasp. He does waste a second to cackle, because he's really going to enjoy this as he yanks Ryunsouke's head back with one hand while he slides off his back and just, slices off his head.

[ imagine if ryunosuke's head comes flying this way as she says this. either way, Marceline is grabbing and uncapping her own red spray paint in one swift movement, spraying her mouth. if it's a paint battle she wants, FINE. all her fangs look bloodied now. it's a look.
but she doesn't strike to attack first, taking a defensive position before doing what she neglected last turn! which is picking a quick song to throw a heal kumon's way before hot pants decides to get revenge or whatever. she's not super thrilled to be doing this mid battle but APPARENTLY some normies can't handle 1v1ing a tank or something. golly.

If he's awake he has to deal with the head being tossed toward him- which means he's instinctively running far away from Hot Pants. The last time she was close he got reckt, throwing his daggers at Vin, since she's also nearby and he feels like he should be doing something to help the group at this point.
The faster they're out of here, the better.

ryunosuke tries to shove garou off of him, still halfway between Car and Man and Horse (?) - and he summons a glow of green to his hand. garou, realizing ryunosuke is human again, and vulnerable brings the chainsaw down on ryunosuke, trying to decapitate him. his blade cuts through ryunosuke’s green can of spray paint, splattering green paint everywhere in a vicious burst. blood spurts from the wound in ryunosuke’s neck and he collapses to the ground, but green energy surrounds him. his head doesn’t come off. he’s unconscious and bleeding out, but he’s not quite dead. not yet.
hot pants, a little bit of green energy surrounding her from where ryunosuke had managed to fire his spell off - staggers to her feet, and fixes her gaze on marceline. she summons a ball of green to her fingers, forms a gun with her hand, and shoots. her aim was true, and the ball of energy erupts at marceline, sapping her of a little of her fight. it’s nowhere near as painful as a hit from the bat would be, but it seems you might be able to use your color this way in a pinch.
marceline takes out her red spray can and sprays it on her teeth. she feels rage come over her, numbing the pain she feels and drowning out the crowd, giving her tunnel vision. this fight, now. but nothing happens just yet, because instead of attacking, she strums her guitar and purple color streams out of it as she plays, surrounding kumon with healing energy. he will find himself able to stagger to his feet, bleeding and in pain, but awake. kumon begins to run away, but as he runs, he tosses his knives in vin’s direction.
Uh-oh sisters. that’s when you see vin sprays the chrome paint in her face. WITNESS. HER. silvery shiny chrome energy encircles her, the paint drips from her face - the crowd falls into a hush, waiting to see her go historic on the rainbow road. Kumon’s knives hit her, but she doesn’t even flinch as they do. She flicks one knife. it flies towards kumon and strikes him in the center of his chest. he goes rigid and pale. Sorry buddy. Kumon is unconscious ... again. she flicks another knife. its aim is true ... and it drive directly into Garou’s back. The last of his energy expended, he’ll collapse into the dirt. Garou is unconscious.
but once she’s thrown the knives, the chrome encircling her fades into wisps, vanishes. suddenly, all the energy from Vin seems to ... fade away. She falls over, limp, to the ground.
...
oh. one other thing. garou’s on the ground, unconscious, blue paint still drying on his mouth. and then, a blue glow surrounding him, he’ll find he’s able to stagger to his feet. he looks like he’s on death’s door, but he’s awake. Garou is un-unconscious.
and as he staggers to his feet, a demon flies overhead and another treasure chest drops in the middle of the arena, in the center of hot pants, garou, and marceline. hot pants and marceline both look bad, but neither looks as nasty as garou. you 1 HP mad lad.

Thankfully, he's in so much pain that he's lost the ability to comprehend what is even happening right now, logical thought giving way to a need to survive. So when he sees the chest, he lets out a weird animal scream and just charges forward. He's still barely holding onto his chainsaw, swinging it aggressively as he runs because even if he's not getting that chest first he's gonna attack whoever does!!

[ marceline has already been angry. then she added the berserker red to herself! and none of the following events make her any less mad! the shrill shriek she gives when kumon passes out AGAIN could probably pierce eardrums. and then garou does too!

she really wants to double tap either vin or ryunosuke out of spite, but she's even more tired of seeing hot pants hanging out awake and the chest pisses her off some more too. garou's going crazy for it and not quite looking where he is attacking, so she instead decides to forgo gunning straight for the chest and concentrates her hate on hot pants.

she dashes off towards her, kicking dirt towards her eyes in an absolutely petty move before she's aiming another fire stream both directly at her and to block off her path to the chest? hopefully?

the crowd is chanting. it becomes a dull roar in your ears. there's cries of Hot Pants! here and there, but more Garou! Garou! and Marceline! and then all of it seems to fade into a low, rumbling chant of Finish it! Finish it! Finish it!
the crowd is hungry for more blood, and after everything that's happened so far, aren't you? and then garou's hand reaches out to touch the treasure chest. it fades in his hands, vanishes in a puff of blue, and suddenly...
