[once she goes looking for the jade archway, it will appear before her. stepping through feels like stepping into a soothing landscape painting. the atmosphere goes grey, but rather than the monochrome of other areas, it's the mist of morning fog, still hanging low in the air. her feet touch down onto dirt and grass. she is standing in a quaint country garden. there are tall, dark green trees all around and rolling hills far away, but in the immediate vicinity is a flat, empty area with a few fenced in garden patches. the fenced in area in front looks to be a tidy herb and vegetable garden patch. there's a small shed towards the back of the garden, and gardening tools are scattered about.
in the distance she can see a pond and across the pond, far away, a small cottage with smoke billowing from the chimney. there are a few stone statues scattered about the garden, but after a moment, you notice that one of them in particular is pacing back and forth, talking to the plants. it glances up.]

into a studio apartment she goes. one room, with a bathroom and a tiny kitchen. the main room is just a couch and a TV, with plain white walls and plain grey carpet. this'd be boring if it weren't for the various posters and trinkets plastered around the room. the posters are blurred out, but they're colorful and eyecatching anyway.
on the couch is a static blob, peeking up to look at her from over the back of the couch.

it is pretty dim... but it also has a nice air about it, looking quite lovely in here. though she's more curious about the... chair. she inches a little closer to Steel, peering at the chair some more before to them. ]

[she steps through the archway and finds herself in a small apartment. it's one room with a bathroom, though the room itself doesn't appear entirely lived in. there are a few posters on the wall, but they are hard to make out and it seems that there is a clock on the wall by the door. there's a second clock on the wall by the bathroom. both of them appear to be set to different times. there's not much in the way of furniture though she'll immediately see there's a small couch along with a bed, blankets piled high and messy into a person-shaped sort of cavern. the kitchen exists, but it seems mostly empty of anything of note except for one whiteboard that reads: Never think of it as a thought. Think of it as freedom of expression.
against the wall across from the entrance there's a computer desk with a pc on it. there's some sort of music softly playing from it, something with guitars and drums and upbeat. there's a web browser open with a lot of tabs she can't see from her place. there's a nice comfortable gamer chair at the desk, and propped against the wall by the desk is a blue electric guitar. it has clearly never been touched.
and after a moment, a shadow-y head pops up over the back of the couch to blink at her. riff was laying out and propped partially against one of the arms, phone in their hand. normally they would just stare at people when they walk in, but at least this time they wave. hello.]

[oh what a cute baby bird. riff looks briefly surprised when she prances right over and sits down. they tilt their head but they're quick to respond with a text. it's an actual text for now because they don't know she's not up to speed with how phones work yet. they dont seem bothered either way.]

I do! Hermes calls that form a.. 'starbird'! It's an.. avian form, so like a smaller bird, but with blue.. and white feathers! [ which, she gestures to her blue feathery wings. hence the birb theme! ] And I have two long tail feathers!
