Her little rummaging hands will find several things! An empty bottle of sake and a few cracked sake cups, and a pamphlet on a star called Tenrousei: The Dog Star. If she reaches out to touch any of them, they turn to ash beneath her fingers.
When she picks up the sword, she'll feel compelled to place it at her hip. At the same time, a feeling will bloom in her chest. She knows this sword quite well, and likewise, she gets the feeling that it knows her just the same. It feels like they've been through a lot together. The feeling she picks up from the blade is warm and nurturing, but there's a strong underlying sense of duty there, too. It seems to have something of an impact on her: she'll find that the feelings it radiates seem to influence hers too, to a degree.]

she doesn't dwell on it for long because this sword..? this sword is her life now. if anything happened to it she would (kill everyone else n then herself meme) no but, she will probably just stand here in this moment.

It seems that their new connection is a two-way street, too; when she tries to project her good will to care for this sword, it responds in kind, emanating a feeling of gratitude and understanding. It seems like it feels it's in good hands!]

As she approaches the black door, she'll begin to hear something from the other side. Sounds like the distant boisterous cries of a very enthusiastic crowd... Will she go through?]
