Me, nodding at Kashuu falling for the treasure chest. My roll is higher, so being a bundle of thieves, the chest snaps its teeth at Kashuu. They can get a sense that there is loot in it, however. ]

[she hates this chest already but also wants what's in it for when she assumes they have to boss battle something... that being said, she does not want to get bitten, so she's going to try to move around behind it and kick at the hinges with her good leg to try and break it.

[THIS FCKIN CHEST IS SO RUDE but with his 13 he'll be able to avoid too much damage once again, and he also just abandons it because he decides it is not as important as whatever the hell is roaring at them from the heavens. It strikes fear through him, but also, the exhausted fires of hysteric fury are slowly creeping back through his body, too. He just curses under his breath as he also looks skyward, shifting to stand somewhat in front of Vin and muttering:]

[ The dragon's language is in their own, but their words reach Vin and Kashuu. They understand it. They can watch the dragon fly further into the Churning Mists.

The treasure chest is still here, tired after being hassled by bullies, and spits out a shield. ]

after a moment of shocked horror as she watches the dragon fly off, she starts kicking this chest even harder in the hopes that it will give them an actual weapon in addition to the shield.]

[Kashuu rolled a 6 so this is gonna be a bumpyass ride. He'll at least try to keep a fair distance from the flurry of dragons considering they're enemies and he does not want to get heatgunned out of the air. i typed hetgunned first]

[ Damn... With Kashuu rolling a 6 for driving, Vax edges over the seats, a handful of his bodyweight slipping out and weighing him. He's close to slipping off to be engulfed by clouds.

[ VIN. is STRUGGLING to keep Vax in the manacutter, but he's in it. He's still with them, even if a dragon keys their sweet ride with its claws. It pushes them off course by only a little, since they're battling 15s.

As they're about three-fourths of the way to Nidhogg, they pass someone on dragonback flying the opposite way. Are the plans... The same? ]

[well. given how focused she is on trying to make sure vax doesn't fall out of the manacutter after that last horrible roll, she only glances up for a second. while she sees the figure covered in gore, she doesn't have time to look at them for long before she's back to business.

[ Living Shadow summons, taking her form but leaking with darkness. With its greatsword, it plunges onto the dragon clawed into their manacutter and descends into the clouds with it. Well. I guess that solves the problem? No dragons seem to pay them mind, but they notice something large, angry, and dark coming their way at top-speed.

It's Nidhogg, leading his brood to Ishgard with a rallying cry. ]
