she watches for a few moments, horrified, before dropping down silently and placing her hands in her face.]
Stop it...! Stop it, I—!
[she looks back up towards herself, though, furious.]
That's why we have to go back! I have to help him live! I won't let your weakness stop me, so take me back!

[ And a new scene shows...
This time is Falcon's Nest where Kashuu and herself are running to the Manacutter. The smoke obscures the sight until the shining arrow of light pierces through the smog. Instead of Haurchefant being there, she can clearly see it is Yasusada blocking the blow with the shield he was given.
Vax tells her to go, helping Yasusada keep the arrow from sniping Kashuu and Vin...
But he, too, dies. ]

You will not taunt me like this, and I will leave this place!

We are here because we want to be here!
[ The next scene is with Kelsier... His madness in Ishgard in front of a city-state built by nobility, mostly for nobility. He is himself and yet not himself, but still he loved her dearly. If he had a daughter—it would be her, wouldn't it? They watch as he is actually so close to escaping, he even considers to come sweep and take Kashuu and Vin away from the knights. His care for her, at his moment, is stronger than his bloodlust for nobles. But then something unexpected happens.
His whole body transforms into one of the Lisa Frank monsters... And he begins attacking the innocent people he would vow to protect. Civilians. Commonfolk. His end is one she hasn't seen, since she was taken away, but now she can witness how these knights kill him. He's beheaded, like the innocents made examples of in Vin's home.
This is just a sad black void, but in Vin herself she can hear a voice. It brings her warmth.
"You're going to do great things, Vin. Never doubt that you're capable."
Don't lose hope. ]

[oh, this next one is—
she sank to her knees already, but now she bends, hugging her arms around herself. rather than crying, she starts sobbing, shaking slightly as she watches this happen to him. she hates it, she hates this place for showing it to her, she hates this—
as she hears that voice, there is no part of her that believes it. but - she wants to find the person who said that to her. after another pause, she pauses and turns, trying to walk away. maybe she can find a path out. but as she goes, she starts to yell.]
Kashuu! Vax! Where are you?!

Why are you calling for them? They left us!
[ hahAhhaha. We are here, with a scene change where Kashuu just BOOKS it when Vin monster asks him not to leave her. When she lost combat ability, he would ditch. It is obvious that monochrome Vin doesn't want to be abandoned, to be unloved, and her voice shows it despite the lack of emotions earlier.
It's a sorrowful scene, with Vin also being swallowed by its weight, but then... Another voice.
"I wish I had a piece of her still with me. A daughter, perhaps, with Mare’s same dark hair and resilient stubbornness... I don't want to be responsible for something happening to you, Vin. Not again."
This voice, too, gives her warmth. The warmth ushers her to not submit to this. ]

[the tears sound in her voice, too, as she yells.]
For once, they didn't want to! So I'm going back to them, and nothing you say can stop me! I... I love them, and they love me, too!

The scenes in the background glitch, they start playing all the sad moments in Vin's life, including scenes in the Prism.
But this Vin, she looks at her. ]
They... Love us?
[ It is such a hurt question, like this copy doesn't want to know the answer.
Another voice: "I just want to see you happy, yeah? 's the most important thing. No matter what." ]

[it's firm, and angry, and determined - but she reaches out a hand towards her other self.]
So, we have to go back to them.

This black void—it blooms with flowers. ]
... We are loved. They are waiting for us.
[ This Vin closes her eyes, then slowly disappears. In this test of wills, Vin overcame her despair. ]
