ROLE: Rainbow Chaser
RAINBOW CHASER
Today, regardless of wherever Yasusada is, they will soon receive a text message from Steel.
This way. Through the arch. We must discuss.
You don't really have time to question what arch they mean as the ground begins to rumble and an elegant pink archway erects before you.
As Yasusada enters through the archway they'll find themselves in what appears to be a traditional Japanese castle, walking through an almost endless series of nearly empty rooms, sliding paper doors that only reveal more rooms that seem to lead nowhere. Wandering, it will begin to be difficult to remember what path they've taken to get to this point in the labyrinth before, finally, they open a door to a larger, open room, not quite so claustrophobically cramped. Most of the room is in deep shadow, but they will almost instinctively know that Steel is seated across from them at a low table in the center of the room.
Between you on the table is a piece of paper, covered in neat, precise handwriting. From the shadows, a hand casts a gesture at the paper.
"So, you have arrived. You shall begin here."
RULES
1. You shall remain awake on Thursday nights.
2. Things that happen in the darkness are strange and unpredictable. Prepare yourself.
3. Choose your path.
4. Discuss this with no one.
After reading the rules, they will find that an image becomes the home screen of their phone and feel something...sticky...appear on their backside as a temporary tattoo of the same image appears. Only Yasusada will be able to see these changes once he leaves this place.
Once the brand settles in, Steel continues to gaze in their direction, unwavering.
"If you have questions, Rainbow Chaser, now is the time to ask them."

WEEK 5
TALK TO STEEL
[ so demanding!!]

Steel-san... do you think it would be safe to tell someone else about this?

-Blend in while standing out. The more you give, the more you'll get.
-Utilize a color out of your reach once a week to create something new.
-Cast a minor elemental spell under the guise of illusion.
-Double the strength of a color out of your reach once a week to create something new.
he will understand that now his special gumball will allow him the powers from previously, but he can also use a color he isn't in possession of and have it work at twice its strength.
she hands it back!]
Who would you be considering?

Damien. [Oh I forgot HE'S PUPPY-FIED... his ears are pointed down, though, and his tail isn't wagging. Sad.] He ended up finding out that I was the one who posted the sign, and he was upset when I couldn't really explain, even when I told him it's because I was worried it would put him in danger. So I promised I would ask.
[Because on the one hand, at the start of all of this, she did say "only Kiyomitsu for now"--he's stayed true to that, outside of the other role-holders, who reached out to him first. But on the other, he's taken her warning seriously--he has no desire to risk endangering the people here. He doesn't want to lie to anyone, but if she tells him it's too dangerous, he'll accept that.]

Hm. She considers. And then after a moment ... ]
I would not ask you to deny outright, if that is your concern, but I would ask that you do not confirm either. You can obfuscate how you choose to - if you would like to claim someone else told you to post the information or that you came across it in a one-time chance, perhaps.
But it is putting him in danger. These roles created by the Prism have certain rules, and I fear that bending them puts their balance into jeopardy. If I could simply tell you things outright, or if you could declare to everyone your purpose, it could have unintended consequences.
For now, we must be safe.

Unlike his insistence on telling Kashuu, Yasusada just nods this time, apparently accepting that answer. He doesn't seem particularly surprised.]
Alright. Emet suggested saying it was a vision--I think it might be easiest to go with that, since I didn't really answer him when he asked if it was a dream. So if he asks again, maybe I'll do that.
[Otherwise he'll mostly just hope Damien forgets about it and forgives him. Or doesn't forgive him, but Yasusada can handle that, even if it'll make him sad.]

He asked if that's what it was, but I didn't want to completely lie to him, so I just said "something like that". [His emotions definitely would've given him away a second time even if he'd tried, tbh.] If I change my mind and say it was a dream after all, he'll definitely know I'm lying.
DECISIONS ... ?

- anime store
- mountain

It's hard to tell exactly how long it is before he groggily reawakens with a bit of a start. It doesn't seem like very long though. He can't see much because of the swirling fog for a moment but, it clears after a bit. All seems quiet. Everyone is buttered.
Does he:
A) Stay here
B) Move on to his next location?
Make your choice and roll a d100. ]
no subject
He will move on! Starting off with a 79.]
no subject
As he passes the Anime Store arch, all seems quiet. colors swirl in the air and fog hangs, still. As he gets closer to the Mountain archway ... there's noise. Unidentifiable, but the fog swirls, colors pulse.
A) Anime Store?
B) Mountain?
C) Go back to Dojo. ]
no subject
He will stick with his choices this time, though, and head in to check out the mountain.
Out of curiosity, what happens if he tries to summon a little bit of color? Anything?]
no subject
Before he decides though ... what exactly is he trying to accomplish with the color? ]
no subject
But if that doesn't work then maybe just using his Amber to create a pair of low-quality mittens or something because this mountain is cold.]
no subject
The mittens he makes will at least make it so he can move his fingers. That could help his concentration.
A) Left?
B) Right?
C) Run away. ]

I flipped a coin so we're going left!]

Does he
A) Stay hidden and wait for it to get quiet again?
B) Try and find somewhere to observe?
C) Run. Run fast, back to the warmth of the dojo.
Make your choice and gimme one more roll.]

Anyway dice says 5 I NO LONGER KNOW IF I SHOULD BE GLAD OR TERRIFIED but he will try and find somewhere to observe.]
no subject
Does he
A) Keep observing.
B) Run away, leave them to their mess.
C) … Try to intervene? ]

Before I choose, one question: does the necklace, perhaps, glint in the light as if part of it is metal? Can he tell from where he is?]
