ROLE: Playtime Kitten 🙀
PLAYTIME KITTEN
Today, regardless of wherever Nogiku is, they will soon receive a text message from Riff.
hey. can u come through the arch? i have something for u
They don't really have time to question what arch Riff means as the ground begins to rumble and a steel, blue archway erects before them.
As Nogiku enters through the archway they'll find themselves in what appears to be a small park. Small, grassy slopes seem to stretch endlessly and a few unidentifiable buildings can be scene in the distance. Sitting on a bench under a tree is Riff with their phone in their hand. Without looking up, they send another message.
playtime kitten...ok then
RULES
1. make a choice from the list i give u
2. decide who is receiving what u pick
3. it cant be the same person each week sry
4. cant tell anyone either
After reading the rules, they will find that an image becomes the home screen of their phone and feel something...sticky...appear on their tongue as a temporary tattoo of the same image appears.
Once the brand settles in, Riff looks up from their phone, patiently waiting before there's an awkward shrug and another message.
ill try to help i guess

[they peer at the vip message though and there's a nod as they hold out their hand again to take the phone back.]
Oh. You unlocked whale status. You can start trading tokens for better prizes now.
[they fiddle around with her phone for a moment before a short light flashes. when she checks the gumball app next, there is a small option shaped like a whale next to the amount of tokens she would have if she didn't spend all of them. this whale is currently greyed out.]
Here. You're good to go now. Three tokens for a whale prize...maybe something you want from home, or a power, or something like that. No guarantee it'll come out of the machine but your chances are a lot better.
[and oocly you can just talk to us kyuu when you maybe want to trade for something so we can approve it.]

[Asks Nogiku, who has never played a gacha in her life. She squints at her slowly evolving gumball app.]
Would the power need to be one from home, too? [A beat.] Oh. And in a somewhat related topic, which of these would you consider a lesser evil? Kindling the flames of rivalry between two people, a vial of lethal poison, or an animal with a gun.
no subject
I...don't know about that. You could try to think of something else and see if the gacha gods are on your side? What're you thinking? [...there's a brief !? in their emotions.] And what kind of a question is that?
[me: kyuu what the fuck
me, a few seconds later remembering her gumballs: lol oh.]
no subject
[Imagine if Nogiku was asking about gunimals for no reason. Wild.
She huffs, radiating annoyance.]
I got unlucky trying to get my hands on a three token gumball. And now I get the feeling my luck won't improve until I use one of those three.
no subject
[...huh.]
Rigged game. But the rivalry would probably be safest since people can always make amends. Can't exactly come back if somebody's poisoned or shot.
no subject
[So. No. Why does she come from a normie world!!!
And as much as I, Kyuu, would love to bring back the gunimals— Nogiku nods.]
Makes sense. Just have to make sure I pick someone who wouldn't take things too far, and think carefully about the timing.

If you really want to use a gumball to try and change your luck? Maybe try like...a Tuesday. Things are usually quiet around then.
no subject
[But... hmm.]
Tuesday, huh...? I'll keep it in mind. As for the targets... [She thinks.] It feels scummy. But Borel-san and Clarte-san don't seem like the type to take things too far if they suddenly became rivals... That is, if I can choose to make them rivals over enemies.
no subject
...Aymeric's pretty easy-going in most cases. So's Clarte. Those two together wouldn't be terrible, you're right. It'd be a little more simple than someone who gets mad really easily.
[like garou. or damien.]

[Said in the tone of someone who does not plan to say anything about this ever.]
