as he steps through the quartz arch, he will find himself standing in a traditional Japanese-style room - tatami mats on the floor, and sliding paper doors on every side. there are no windows, or even decorations on the walls. it's dim in here, lit only by low candles and shadows crawling out of every corner. it's very, very silent.

[once crow goes looking for the jade archway, it will appear before him. stepping through feels like stepping into a soothing landscape painting. the atmosphere goes grey, but rather than the monochrome of other areas, it's the mist of morning fog, still hanging low in the air. his feet touch down onto dirt and grass. he is standing in a quaint country garden. there are tall, dark green trees all around and rolling hills far away, but in the immediate vicinity is a flat, empty area with a few fenced in garden patches. the fenced in area in front of him looks to be a tidy herb and vegetable garden patch. there's a small shed towards the back of the garden, and gardening tools are scattered about.
in the distance he can see a pond and across the pond, far away, a small cottage with smoke billowing from the chimney. there are a few stone statues scattered about the garden, but after a moment, you notice that one of them in particular is waving.]

[he steps through the archway and finds himself in a small apartment. it's one room with a bathroom, though the room itself doesn't appear entirely lived in. there are a few posters on the wall, but they are hard to make out and it seems that there is a clock on the wall by the door. there's a second clock on the wall by the bathroom. both of them appear to be set to different times. there's not much in the way of furniture though he'll immediately see there's a small couch along with a bed, blankets piled high and messy into a person-shaped sort of cavern. the kitchen exists, but it seems mostly empty of anything of note except for one whiteboard that reads: Never think of it as a thought. Think of it as freedom of expression.
against the wall across from the entrance there's a computer desk with a pc on it. there's some sort of rock music playing from it at a somewhat loud volume, something with guitars and drums and upbeat. there's also an internet browser open with a bunch of tabs he can't quite see from his place. there's a nice comfortable gamer chair at the desk, and propped against the wall by the desk is a blue electric guitar. it has clearly never been touched.
and riff is laying on their couch with their back against one of the arms, seemingly still reading through percy's post from earlier. they don't notice crow just yet.]

it's a little one room apartment, with a small attached kitchen and a bathroom. there's a tv and a couch in the middle of the room, and the walls are covered in blurry, colorful pictures that can't really be made out. there are also clothes everywhere on the floor, like they just toss stuff there when they're done with it.
bass is here, and they're in a humanoid shape at the moment, but it's like... violently shivering at the edges, like they're doing their best to keep it. they're also greyed out, not their usual yellow.

[crow wanders into the archway and the first thing he'll notice is that he's entering a hallway. there are four clocks in various shapes and sizes mounted on the wall of the hall, each displaying a different time. it's a short walk before it opens up into a main room. there's a couch directly in front of him, and in front of it there's a small tv with a sw*tch docked and set on a small table. there's a bed against the wall, covered in blankets and pillows. there's a door leading to what's presumably a bathroom, along with a closet door on another wall. there's a small kitchen that has a few things on the counter; there's a tabletop stove, a microwave, and what looks like a thing to instantly boil water in addition to a little fridge and sink. just enough for one person. there's a whiteboard on the wall, split in half with a dry-erase marker line. half of it says: Don't let your head get to your heart...
the other half is a list that simply says NOTES. under it appears to be a recipe for some kind of coffee?
