It's a small ball that fits in a human hand. It's great for throwing and hitting with a bat.

A bat is a perfectly useable weapon if it is made of sturdy enough material. It will do.

Then you have the tools necessary. Summon color into your "baseball" bat, and remove the objectionable element from the area. It is a simple solution.
