[awkward silence it is! because riff sure as hell doesn't know what to say either, so they prepare tea in silence. when the water boils, eventually, they pour it over the bag in a mug before coming back to hand it to her.

...well, I can't say I'm not a little concerned about the note they found. We don't know the source, so we can't know if any of it is true or not... but it's concerning to hear nonetheless.
I don't think they should have been talking about you all the way they were, though...
