The god I follow gives me what I need. It's a bit of a mix. Healing is a big part of it; healing people, keeping them safe, helping them be their best selves in a fight. The beetles, too. That's something I could always do.
Most of the time, I don't know that they are, not directly. I sort of think of it as the gods empowering people to do the things their followers need. But my .... I've been given a task that's important to her. So I guess she gives me a few tools to help carry that out.

I think so. I don't know about every god or their intentions, but it's better to assume that's true, isn't it? Act as though you might have been the person sent in answer to someone else's prayers, and try to help.
