It can be really comforting, y'know? [the dog starts to... melt, sort of. they're very comfortable, apparently, and it's harder to keep form like this.]

If it's used to just the four of you, so many of us must be quite the adjustment... with you four and all of us, that's somewhere around forty people here now, isn't it?

To suddenly be dealing with ten times as many people as usual in such a short time... I'd be overwhelmed too.

[they laugh a little.] But yeah. Shale always talks about how things take time. I'm not really all that patient but if they say so, I can try.

...I prefer things to be done quickly, myself, but I can wait when I have to. But... waiting is easier when you have friends to wait with you.
