Anyway, I spoke with Steel yesterday and they spoke about not having a form similar to ours [ She gestures to herself, placing a hand above her chest. ] for some time… are you the same?

[hmm. they climb up to sit on the counter, tilting their head.]

I think so. I've been like this as long as I can remember. You guys are all really concerned about us not looking the way you do, aren't you?

Well... when you tell us that you've had forms before this one, it's a little worrying? It makes some of us wonder what exactly happened for you to lose them...

... Huh. Guess that's pretty valid.

I don't think you guys have anything to worry about. The prism's not a bodysnatcher or anything.

[ There's a small smile of relief. ]

Can the same be said about memories?

The company of others is fine, but… I’m familiar what it’s like to having something erased and then given back to you. It’s overwhelming, as if you were drowning.

So, I'm curious, do you often take the shape of whoever you're talking to?

[that seems to surprise them, actually.]

[ She giggles, waving a hand. ]

I don't know, really. Mostly it just happens and I don't think too hard about it.

Well, I think so long as you have my form that you should be encouraged to do simple chores. So let's clean up this place a little bit, just so I can have a clearer mind!

[ she's bullshitting ]

[hmmmm, they just start to melt]

Oh nooo, I can't clean if I don't have any hands... [this is so dramatic]

[ She walks out of the kitchen, grabbing a handful of clothes off the floor. ]

anyway, they just stay in a puddle on the floor. she can clean if she wants they're not helping!]

[ Well she will! Pick up the clothes and even go the mile to fold them all.

Once she's finished: ]

Bass-san. [ Get out of puddle form. ] Where should I put these?

The closet, if you want? [their closet, which is actually full of clothes. there's a cute collection! none of it seems very gendered? or at the very least - not just one gender. there's a couple of skirts and dresses, plus pants and basketball shorts, t-shirts, blouses, dress shirts. it's quite the collection, though it sort of tends a little more loose and baggy than not.]

[ She goes the the closet and discovers all the clothes inside, pausing briefly before she finds a place for the ones she picked up from the floor. ]

Are you into fashion?

Yeah! [they say, excitedly. they are less of a blob now.]

I dabble in it. I like making outfits. Are you?

I can't really say I am. As long as it's modest and comfortable, I'm happy.

[ They'd probably hit it off along well with Gin. ]

Are these all outfits you've made?

Comfortable is important. [nodding.] Some of them are. I'm not super great at sewing but all the yellow stuff in there I made.
