I think that's because you enjoy a good fight... right? At least you give off that impression.
It's not life saving -- minor injuries, really, nothing drastic.
But there are some people here who don't really care for being inside the medbay. Myself included.

I understand - the pods cause worry to some.
I would not say it is impossible that you could, with time, find a way to regain some of your familiar power. You'd have to explore the possibilities, practice with what is available to you.

So is it something linked directly to our color?
Like the more we use it, the more we regain our own powers?
