APARTMENTS
From the central node, a path winds out. The sky and surroundings are dark here, but rising out of the darkness is a tall, narrow building with bright glowing colorful lights in the windows.

Welcome to your new apartment home! There are a few bugs still to work out, but it's at least a lot more welcoming than the mansion that was here before. The wide doors open, leading to a bright gleaming lobby. At the side of the lobby is a row of small mailboxes, each with a nameplate on them. In the back there is one room containing several trash cans; anything placed in them empties out each Sunday. A second room is a communal laundry room with two washing machines and two dryers. There is also a gumball machine in the lobby.

At the back of the lobby are gleaming elevator doors, although you can also take the winding stairwell up to the other floors. Both the elevator and the stairwell doors require your phone to operate, which unlocks only the floors that correspond to your color. Of course, you are welcome to bring guests to your floors.

The layout to each apartment floor is near-identical. The apartments all have a small kitchen and communal dining area, a bathroom with a combination shower and bath, a communal living area with a small balcony off to the side, and a number of bedrooms, each with nameplates on the door. You might have to share a bedroom with someone else, but you have your own bed and your own closet. The bedroom doors do not lock. Even though each apartment floor has a similar layout, the decor and amenities inside are very different. Also every kitchen only has one chopping knife.
MARINE
The doorway to the second floor apartment is painted a deep blue. A keypad allows those assigned to Marine to access this space.

The Marine Apartment is dark and dimly lit, all in shades of deep blues. The mood of the apartment beckons you to crawl inside and take a nap. The decor on the walls seems to include a number of anime posters, as well as a painting. You've never seen any of these animes, but when you look at the posters, you feel a little less lonely, as though you have friends who will never desert you. The windows throughout the apartment appear to look out to a view of a starry sky and dark crashing waves.

The living room has wide and deep couches, broad enough to stretch out and lie down and covered in warm fluffy blankets. The couches and cushions are clustered around a television and simple game console. The console only seems to play old school video games and the television only plays romantic comedies. Off the living room is a bare balcony where you can sit and watch the ocean below.

The kitchen is small and hard to use, but there is a microwave and the large freezer-fridge combo is well stocked with frozen TV dinners, chocolate milk, and Baja Blast. There's a small table and chairs to the side for eating meals. The bathroom is stocked with bubble bath and sea-scented soaps. Each bedroom has thick and heavy blankets and pillows in dark shades of blue, and glow-in-the-dark stars dot the ceiling. There's a clock on the bedroom wall, but it doesn't seem to work.

AMBER
The doorway to the third floor apartment is a warming deep wooden color. A keypad allows those assigned to Amber to access this space.

The Amber Apartment is cozy and inviting, lit up with the soft glow of firelight. The mood of the apartment makes you feel like you've just returned home after a long absence. The decor on the walls includes handcarved signs welcoming you home, as well as handmade, childish paintings and crafts. You can't quite place it, but you're sure some of the art is familiar, as though the artist was someone you once knew and loved. There's also pottery decor here and there, but a lot of it has been broken at some point and glued back together. The windows throughout the apartment look out to a field of grain and glowing dusky skies with occasional flickering fireflies.

The living room has an assortment of soft, lived in couches, long enough for everyone to fit comfortably and covered in knit blankets and pillows embroidered with Home Sweet Home. The couches are clustered around a gently crackling fireplace that fills the entire area with warmth. No television, but there's a chest filled with old board games, most of which are missing a piece or two. Off the living room is a balcony with cheerful beds of marigolds.

The kitchen is small and homey, with pantries and a refrigerator chock full of baking supplies, and a large assortment of supplies for making hot cocoa, spiced hot cider, and s'mores. There's a round wooden table and chairs for eating together. The bathroom is stocked with fluffy towels and honey-scented soaps. Each bedroom has beds with handmade quilts, and an assortment of candles.

HELIOTROPE
The doorway to the fourth floor apartment is painted a bright, streaky purple. A keypad allows those assigned to Heliotrope to access this space.

The Heliotrope Apartment is dramatic and bright, with an exhausting overabundance of color and decor. The mood of the apartment makes you feel ready to have a good time. It isn't very restful, especially when phantom neighbors sometimes thump on the walls to remind you to keep it down, but sometimes music seems to play instead, giving you a burst of creative energy. The windows throughout the apartment look out to a city at night, lit up with neon signs.

The living room has an eclectic assortment of strange furniture, with enough cushions and chairs to invite friends over, and also a hole to Nothing in the wall. It's not a big hole? But it's like someone took fabric and ripped it, and left it open. Behind it is nothing but darkness and dust of the Prism, like you've seen in other places. Touching it is probably a bad idea. There's a record player in the corner, but you don't seem to have any records. The seating is clustered around a projector screen, which only seems to show bright lights or scenes from old movies. There's also a small trunk filled with paints, and a desk ... nothing on it. The journal that was here is gone. Off the living room is a balcony from which you can hear the sounds of city streets.

The kitchen doesn't seem as though it was made to be regularly cooked in, but it's stocked with a seemingly random assortment of herbs and spices, snacks, and booze. The bathroom is stocked with incense and strong floral-scented soaps. Each bedroom has beds that are covered in bright pillows and strings of lights dangle from the ceiling.

SUNRISE
The doorway to the fifth floor apartment is painted a bright yellow. A keypad allows those assigned to Sunrise to access this space.

The Sunrise Apartment is as bright and cheery as its name would suggest. The mood of the apartment makes you feel energized, like you're ready to start your day. The decor on the walls seems to be mostly affirmational signs, telling you to Hustle, Have a Sunshiney Day, or to be a Girl Boss, but they fill you with a sense of optimism and determination. In Sunrise, you are a girl boss. The windows throughout the apartment look out to bright sunlight over a meadow of dandelions.

The living room has an assortment of couches covered in pillows with inspirational sayings. You all fit, but how often are you going to be lounging around anyway? Fortunately, your living room also comes with a state of the art exercise bike. Though there isn't a communal television, the bike does come with a TV. It plays workout videos and HGTV shows. Off the living room is a balcony with a hammock which you can lie in to soak up some sunlight.

The kitchen is small but serviceable, with a large refrigerator chock full of all the healthy fruits and vegetables you need, along with an industrial blender to make smoothies. The refrigerator is covered in post-it reminders: "do you laundry," "clean your room," "say I love you to a friend." There's a counter facing a window with some metal stools to sit on for eating together. The bathroom is stocked with face masks and citrus-scented soaps. Each bedroom has beds with firm mattresses, and cute face masks so you can get a good night's sleep despite the sunshine streaming through the windows.

SCARLET
The doorway to the sixth floor apartment is a deep, dark red. A keypad allows those assigned to Scarlet to access this space.

The Scarlet Apartment is a dream gamer pad, lit by the glow of LED lights. The mood of the apartment is the furthest thing from relaxing - in fact, it's a little tense. But being in here gives you a sense of focus and determination. The decor on the walls includes samurai swords (which cannot be taken down or used), pictures of really cool cars and motorcycles, and sexy pin-ups of muscley dudes and ladies, as well as red LED lights on the walls in an intricate, flowing design. Outside the windows, the dark night skies are lit up occasionally by bursts of fireworks.

The living room has slick black leather couches and a few scattered leather reclining chairs where you can cool off. All are gathered around a big screen TV with a console. The TV only plays sports (your team is losing) and a confusing reality show where everyone is yelling at each other. The games are all shooters and M*rio Kart, but the console only works if you play against someone else. If you prefer, there's a desk with a PC in the corner where you can play the same games by yourself. Off the living room is a balcony with a fancy grill.

The kitchen is small and frustrating to cook in, but the cabinets and refrigerator are stocked with junk food, energy drinks and Code Red. There's a counter with stools for sitting and eating together. The bathroom is stocked with Axe Body Spray and cinnamon-scented soaps. Each bedroom has racecar beds and glowing lava lamps.

VERDANT
The doorway to the seventh floor apartment is simple, green-tinted wood. A keypad allows those assigned to Verdant to access this space.

The Verdant Apartment is decorated simply, but filled with life, and lit with the white glow of sunlamps. The mood of the apartment is calming and serene. It's impossible to be horny here. The apartment is filled everywhere with growing plants, which will always remain vibrant and healthy no matter what you do, but you still feel compelled to water them every day and you'll feel guilty if you don't. Somehow the apartment always feels tidy even if there's a mess left around. The windows throughout the apartment are fogged and always dripping with raindrops, but through the fog you can make out jungle foliage.

The living room furniture is simple, with a plain couch and chairs, and enough cushions on the floor for everyone to relax. There is a bookcase with an assortment of books that are all of the philosophy or self-help variety. Off the living room is a balcony where rain is softly falling on a simple herb garden.

The kitchen is small and organized, but the pantry and refrigerator are stocked with ingredients that are likely only useful for cooking something complex but also healthy, as well as a wide assortment of teas, all of which are delicious. There's a low table and cushions on the floor for eating together. The bathroom is stocked with aromatherapy oils and herbal-scented soaps. Each bedroom has simple but comfortable beds with vines creeping along the walls.

Room 2 ▲ Hot Pants
CRYSTALLINE
The doorway to the eighth floor apartment is frosted glass. A keypad allows those assigned to Crystalline to access this space.

The Crystalline Apartment is modern and austere, but well-appointed and lit by a soft lights filtered through glass. The mood of the apartment isn't welcoming, but serves well for quiet concentration and focus. Most of the decor is gleaming white, allowing focus to be drawn on the glass and marble. The windows throughout the apartment look out to a white sand beach and a calm, glittering lake, always lit in a dusky pink sunset glow. When the sunset light catches the glass of the chandelier, there's a tendency for inspiration to strike.

The living room has a stiff but sleek couch with enough room for everyone to gather and converse. There is no television, but a bookcase is stocked with reference materials, and there's a wide desk perfect for study, as well as a state-of-the-art computer, which can be used for its encyclopedia or to play strategy games. Off the living room is a balcony with a glass bottom that looks down onto the sand below.

The kitchen is small but state-of-the art, organized with never opened simple cooking basics, a wine rack with very fine wines, and a keurig machine with a wide assortment of teas and coffees. All of them taste a little stale, but provide a strong burst of energy and focus. There's a glass table in the corner for sitting and eating together. The bathroom is stocked with obscenely expensive lotion and rose-scented soaps. Each bedroom has pristine white beds and pleasing quartz lamps on the bedside table, as well as some strange incomprehensible decor.

Room 1 ▲ Bonnibel Bubblegum and Emet Selch
Room 2 ▲ Percy de Rolo
METALLIC
The doorway to the ninth floor apartment is dark with an ornate gold knocker. A keypad allows those assigned to Metallic to access this space.

The Metallic Apartment is dark and luxurious with gold and silver accents, though most of the gold is actually just paint. The mood of the apartment is bold and intimate, and it is lit with the most flattering possible lighting. The decor is an assortment of abstract metal art pieces and there are many mirrors on the wall. When you look in the mirrors here, you always feel confident. The windows throughout the apartment appear to look down onto glittering city lights from hundreds of stories up.

The living room has soft but stylish velvet couches, with enough room to show off to all your friends, and fluffy carpets and pillows. The couches are gathered around a massive television hung on the wall, which also includes a DVR. The only shows the television plays are reality shows about celebrities you've never heard of and HBO's Ballers. The DVR is chock full of even more episodes of Ballers. Off the living room is a balcony with a curtained daybed.

The kitchen is small but sleek, and the refrigerator is packed with expensive looking pre-prepared organic microwave dinners and fancy mineral water. There's an espresso machine but it's very confusing to operate and never seems to work well, and a large assortment of expensive chocolates. There is a bar with gold stools to sit and eat together. The bathroom is stocked with a variety of makeup and perfume-scented soaps. Each bedroom has soft, wide beds covered in pillows and a vanity next to the closet. Under each mattress, you can find an assortment of magazines with sexy but tasteful male and female pinups.

ROOFTOP
The elevators and stairs all lead to a rooftop space at the top of the apartment building. Everyone can access this space, and the view from the rooftop looks out, seemingly at random, at different nodes. There is a grassy space, some planter beds, and some cushioned seating with enough room for everyone. There is a firepit with seating around it, a hot tub, and a plastic wading pool.

There are high iron railings around the edge of the Building, strung with softly glowing rainbow colored lights that light up the darkness that surrounds it.

Towards the back of the rooftop, there's a small greenhouse. Inside, you will find rows of planters and pots sufficient to plant a wide variety of plants, a bench with various gardening tools such as gloves, shears and plant food, and a bunch of seed packets for fairly basic fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. None are poisonous, you fiends. There's also a little garden hose.
