[time to get to work then! she'll head right on over to assist shale with their tasks.]

It is. You're always very pleasant company - it's relaxing to come and visit you.

[they look up at her with a smile. there's a little more definition to the face, making it look oddly inhuman and gaunt.]

Help with weeding? [as they walk towards the garden, though.] So, tell me how you're getting along with everybody?

Umm... well enough, I think. Most people here have been very kind.

...that's a pretty long list...! But I spend a lot of time with Percy and Vin, if I had to name just a few.

Really? I'm glad to hear you've been getting along with her! ...I hope you've had a lot of nice talks with many of us.

I try. A lot of you are pretty willing, now that you've been here a while. It's nice.

Is there anyone you've been wanting to talk with that hasn't come by? Maybe I could bring them along with me next time...

Oh, I think I can manage that.

Good. I like talking to people, but I don't generally mind if it's me they talk to or not. But ... all of that stuff about the prism, the Dreamer stuff, I don't like it still lingering.

I'm sure it must be more than a little unsettling that it keeps coming up...

It's pretty weird.

I wish you guys would talk to us about these things. We could set your mind at ease, maybe.

[she tilts her head to one side, curious]

Maybe... but you said it was just the four of you here for quite a while, didn't you? I had imagined this would have been as new to you as it is to the rest of us.

That's right.

[they hum, tilting their head slightly.]

It is new to us, and we don't have answers for you, exactly. But we know what the prism is. If you tell us what's going on with you guys, maybe there will be something we can say to help. Instead of finding something that casts things in the worst light and listening to it without trying to talk to us.

...what do you think of it, then? About... what was found last week, involving the "Dreamer," and then what happened after that with Sir Naruhodo and Sir Asogi...

[unfortunately jiuqing doesn't get more dreamer deets from vin until thursday and this thread is on wednesday. rip.]

It's... very unsettling. Something affected the two of them, unless we all just read them wrong and they were the type to attack each other out of the blue...

It is unsettling. And I think you're right, I don't get that sense about them. I think something was wrong with them. But... [hmm.] The Dreamer thing, I don't trust it. There's not some malevolent force at the center of all this. I don't believe that.

...then, what do you think left that note?

[if it wasn't one of the residents, and it wasn't one of the newcomers...]

[a sigh. they turn, looking up at the sky, even though it's always cloudy here. just sort of contemplating, looking very much like a real statue while they do it.]

...I don't know. It had to be somebody, right? I think. [hmm.] The prism makes things sometimes, things where none of us know what it came from. But this doesn't feel quite like that.

That's what worries me most about it. We don't know.
